Balford deep draws and stamps metal housings for automotive sensors and solenoid valves, in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China. Presses run from 25 t to 350 t, including transfer press, in a 12,000 m2 facility with 500+ machines. What we make: deep drawn sensor housings (oxygen/lambda, NOx, coolant temperature, ABS/wheel speed, EGT and pressure sensors), solenoid valve housings and sleeves, motor shells and end caps, stamped washers, brackets, clips and terminals. Our published sensor housing catalogue contains 398 deep drawn configurations across 10 series, and the dimensions, materials and wall thicknesses are available as open data. How we quote: every enquiry is reviewed for material, forming route, tooling, heat treatment and inspection before a price is given. If the part sits outside what our presses can do, we say so at that stage rather than after a purchase order - our four capability boundaries are published. Quality: ISO 9001:2015 certified. Process controls are aligned with IATF 16949 requirements; we are not certified to IATF 16949.
